Microsoft has announced that Skype, the popular video-calling app, will be closing in May. The app was acquired by Microsoft in 2011 for $8.5 billion and had 300 million users at its peak in 2016. However, with the rise of other communication tools like Slack, Zoom, and Microsoft's own Teams, Skype's user base has declined to 36 million users worldwide.

Adobe has released a full-fat Photoshop app for iPhone, with an Android version promised soon. The app is free, with some features requiring a subscription. Google's Pixel Watch 3 has received FDA clearance for its Loss of Pulse feature, which can detect cardiac arrest. Oura has launched a large-scale pregnancy study, recruiting 10,000 subjects to collect data on physiological changes during pregnancy.
