Design and Display

The Razer Blade 16 (2025) has a sleek and slim design, making it a great option for those who want a powerful gaming laptop without the bulk. The keyboard has a 1.5mm travel distance, giving it a tactile and mechanical feel. The actuation feels heavy, but it adds precision to the typing experience. The laptop also features a glass touchpad, which is great for navigation and gestures.

The display is an OLED 240-Hz screen with a 2,560 x 1,600-pixel resolution. It produces excellent image quality, with 100% sRGB and 94% AdobeRGB color saturation, and a Delta-E of 0.42 for color accuracy. However, the screen is extremely glossy, which can be distracting in certain lighting conditions.

Performance and Configuration

The Razer Blade 16 (2025) is powered by an RTX 5090 Laptop GPU, paired with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. The base configuration starts at $3,000, with the Ryzen AI 9 365, RTX 5070 Ti, 32GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. The laptop is also available in a higher-end configuration with 32GB of RAM and 2TB of storage, priced at $4,500.

This is the first time Razer has exclusively offered AMD CPUs for the Blade 16, marking a significant shift away from Intel. The AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 provides plenty of power for gaming needs, although it may not be as beefy as the desktop replacement chip used in last year's Intel model.

Audio and Webcam

The six-speaker audio system on the Razer Blade 16 (2025) is decent, with good sound quality and some bass. However, it still can't compete with the audio quality of Apple's MacBook Pro. The 1080p webcam is sufficient for video calls, but it may not impress coworkers, especially in low-light conditions.
