Nintendo Switch 2 Backward Compatibility

Nintendo has provided an in-depth look at the backward compatibility of the upcoming Switch 2 console. According to the company, most last-gen games will run smoothly on the new console, with some exceptions. A detailed resource page on Nintendo's website outlines the compatibility of various titles, including those from Nintendo and third-party developers.

The page lists games that are fully compatible, as well as those that may have startup issues or in-game compatibility problems. Notably, the VR Labo kit is the only game that will not work on the Switch 2. However, other games that were thought to be incompatible, such as Ring Fit Adventure and 1-2-Switch, can be played with some workarounds.
