Introduction to the Citroen C3 Hybrid

The Citroen C3 Hybrid is the latest addition to the supermini range, offering a unique blend of comfort, style, and efficiency. With order books now open, customers can experience the best of both worlds with this new hybrid model.

The C3 Hybrid is available in two trim levels: the entry-level Plus and the better-equipped Max. The former starts at £20,115, while the latter starts at £21,815. Both models feature the Hybrid 110 set-up, which combines a 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a 48V electric motor and a six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.

Performance and Efficiency

The C3 Hybrid boasts an impressive 109bhp, 10bhp more than the pure-petrol car, and reaches a top speed of 99mph. It also accelerates from 0-62mph in just 9.8 seconds, making it 0.8 seconds quicker than the non-hybrid C3. In terms of efficiency, the C3 Hybrid emits 114g/km of CO2 and achieves a combined economy figure of 56.5mpg, beating the petrol C3's 128g/km and 52mpg respectively.

Equipment and Features

The equipment levels mirror the rest of the C3 line-up, with the C3 Hybrid Plus featuring automatic LED headlights and LED daytime running lights, 17-inch diamond-cut two-tone alloy wheels, a two-tone roof, and interchangeable front and side colour clips. The Max version adds LED rear lights, front foglights, tinted windows, and electric rear windows. Inside, the C3 Hybrid features Citroen's 'Advanced Comfort' programme, which includes comfort-orientated seats and hydraulic bump stops in the suspension for a more relaxed ride.

As standard, the C3 Hybrid also comes with a 10.25-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The Max trim level adds a heated 'acoustic' windscreen, a heated steering wheel, heated front seats, reversing camera, auto-dimming rear mirror, integrated sat-nav, and automatic air-conditioning.
