The company first unveiled the EV4 as a concept at CES last year, along with several other models. The EV4 is available with two battery options: a 58.3 kWh standard battery and an 81.4 kWh long-range battery. The long-range sedan can travel up to 630 km on a single charge, while the standard battery sedan has a range of 430 km. The hatchback version has a range of 590 km. The vehicle's 150 kW motor can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds for the standard battery variant and 7.7 seconds for the long-range variant. Both variations have a top speed of 170 km/h. The EV4 also features Kia's Digital Key 2.0 system, which allows owners to control certain functions remotely through an app. Additionally, the vehicle comes with advanced safety features, including Highway Driving Assist technology, which provides access to Driver Attention Warning, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Following Assist, Intelligent Speed Limit Assist, and Remote Parking Assist Entry. Kia will manufacture the EV4 sedan in Korea and the hatchback version in Slovakia. The company plans to release the vehicle in the US later this year.
