KAMManufaktur's Tribute to the Porsche 912

KAMManufaktur, a Hungarian company, has built a restomod Porsche 912 to celebrate the car's 60th anniversary. The 912c is a high-performance version of the original 912, with a 2.0-liter flat-four engine producing around 190 horsepower. The car's lightweight construction, using carbon fiber, gives it a power-to-weight ratio similar to a modern 911.

The 912 was launched in 1965 as a budget-friendly version of the Porsche 911, with an air-cooled 1.6-liter four-cylinder boxer engine producing around 100 horsepower. Although it was not as powerful as the 911, the 912 was known for its agility and handling. KAMManufaktur's 912c is a tribute to the original car, with a focus on performance and style.

The company is building a limited number of 912cs, each with a unique specification. The cars can be customized to suit the buyer's preferences, with options for track-oriented or road-friendly suspension. KAMManufaktur has also built a targa version of the 912c, complete with a roof rack and surfboard.

The 912c is not cheap, with a price tag of over $400,000. However, for Porsche enthusiasts, it may be a worthwhile investment. The car's unique blend of performance, style, and heritage makes it a desirable addition to any collection.
