Hyundai and Avride Partnership

Hyundai Motor Company and Avride have agreed to jointly develop autonomous vehicles, with a focus on robotaxis. The partnership will expand Avride's fleet of Hyundai IONIQ 5 vehicles, which will be integrated with Avride's autonomous technology.

The deal is part of Hyundai's efforts to advance its autonomous vehicle technology, and Avride's collaboration with Hyundai is not a replacement for Motional, another autonomous vehicle startup backed by Hyundai.
