Hyundai and Avride Partnership
Hyundai Motor Company and Avride have agreed to jointly develop autonomous vehicles, with a focus on robotaxis. The partnership will expand Avride's fleet of Hyundai IONIQ 5 vehicles, which will be integrated with Avride's autonomous technology.
The deal is part of Hyundai's efforts to advance its autonomous vehicle technology, and Avride's collaboration with Hyundai is not a replacement for Motional, another autonomous vehicle startup backed by Hyundai.
Hyundai Ioniq 9 Unveiled
The Hyundai Ioniq 9 is a large electric MPV that boasts a range of advanced features, including a curved roofline, tapered tail, and active aero system. The vehicle has a drag coefficient of just 0.259, making it one of the most aerodynamic cars in its class.
The Ioniq 9 is available in three versions, each equipped with a 110.3-kWh battery and offering various power outputs. The vehicle also features an 800-volt battery system, enabling fast charging and vehicle-to-load capability.
The interior of the Ioniq 9 is spacious and luxurious, with commanding driving positions, fabulous seats, and ample storage space. The vehicle is set to compete with other high-end electric MPVs in the market.
