Charley Hull, the 28-year-old English golfer, has put herself in contention to win the Women's World Championship in Singapore. Despite waking up with an overnight bug, Hull managed to card a four-under 68 in the third round, moving her to nine under par for the tournament at Sentosa Golf Club. Her preparations were hampered by the illness, but she made light of it with a bogey-free round that included two birdies on the front nine and two more on the 10th and 13th holes. Hull will go off in the final pairing with New Zealand's Olympic champion Lydia Ko, who currently leads the tournament. Thailand's Atthaya 'Jeeno' Thitikul showed impressive form to produce the day's lowest score of 66, moving into third place on seven under. South Korea's Kim A-lim, who topped the leaderboard at the halfway stage, carded a 73 to fall into a three-way tie for fourth on six under, alongside Australia's Minjee Lee and Pajaree Anannarukarn of Thailand.
