Creating and Managing Events

Apple Invites offers a straightforward event creation process. Users can start building their invite by tapping the + button on the front screen of the iPhone app. They can then fill out essential details such as the event date and start time. Additionally, users can customize their event listing by adding a background image, which can be chosen from a selection of images, picked from the camera roll, or generated using AI.

Hosts can also attach times, locations, and music to invites, and even add a weather forecast for the event day. The app allows hosts to manage event details, including font size and guest approval. Invites are shared via a link, which can be sent across various apps and platforms.

Responding to Invites and Participating

Guests can respond to invites by tapping on the link, which directs them to the app or the web page. They can choose from three RSVP options: Going, Not Going, and Maybe, and can also attach a message if needed. Guests can view event details, including photo albums and playlists, and can even contribute to these if sharing access has been granted.

Apple Invites integrates with Apple Calendar, allowing users to add events to their calendar. The app also supports exporting events to other calendar apps using a standard ICS calendar event file.
